Welcome!
Ceramics is an art form and craft that I first discovered as an undergraduate student at Western Carolina University. After years devoted to my career, I took clay in hand again when I found a fully equipped pottery studio at the NCSU Craft Center.
Over the last ten years I have thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with clay and building my pottery skills in the company of other fine artists. I have also explored pottery styles and techniques through classes and workshops at Penland School of Crafts, Campbell Folk School, Dan Finch Pottery, Pullen Arts Center, and the NCSU Craft Center. I am an active member of the Triangle Potters Guild for which I served as President for two years.
You can find me at various group shows with the Triangle Potters Guild as well as in individual juried shows in the Triangle area. You can also find my work at Deco Raleigh and Cary Gallery of Artists. If you're looking for a particular piece, feel free to email me at tinroofpot@bellsouth.net or call 919-832-3073.
Thanks for stopping by!
